CipherTooth was founded in February 2013 and incorporated in the State of Utah. The provisional patent was filed immediately and work began on building a product using the patented technology. The product was completed in December of 2013 and was successfully tested in January of 2014. A full patent for the technology was filed in February of 2014. Thereafter, an improved second version of the product was developed and launched in May of 2014. In July 2014, CipherTooth obtained its first customer.
