Encryption Security
Testing that cryptographic algorithms are implemented correctly is a pre-requisite for FIPS 140-2 and FIPS 140-3 cryptographic module testing, NIAP Common Criteria evaluations, and NIST CAVP certificates can be accepted by other Common Criteria schemes as well as some other certification programs. atsec offers the algorithm testing specified under the NIST Cryptographic Algorithm Validation (CAVP) Scheme as an accredited laboratory (NVLAP Lab code #200658). The list of cryptographic algorithms that can be tested by the laboratory are listed on the CAVP web page. atsec also provides full support for the NIST automated Cryptographic Validation Protocol (ACVP) which is replacing the legacy CAVS testing.
