Automated optical inspection (AOI) is a non-contact method that uses machine vision to capture the images of half-finished products and determine whether they have any defect. Operating with strict parameters, the AOI device screens products with high sensitivity to meet the requirement for high yields. In order to cut manpower redundancies and speed up the device’s inspection of the production line, an AI-based detection module is being tested, and a visual recognition technology is used for optimizing the inspection results.
